The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic is a fashionable looking 3G Smartphone which is from the same Nokia range as the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic & the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic although the 5730 XpressMusic has a similar designed casing & features to the Nokia E75. The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic comes with a fashionable looking casing which is available in four colour options which are black with red, black with pink, grey with blue & black with monochrome. The user can choose the coloured casing to suit their personal taste & enjoying owning a handset which will truly get noticed for its stylish good looks as well as its wide range of built in features. The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic comes with a good sized screen which displays up to 16 million colours on a high resolution screen. This colourful & clear screen measures 2.4 Inches when measured diagonally. A navigation control key, call keys & a compact numeric keypad sits neatly below the screen. The user can access a full QWERTY keyboard by simply sliding the keyboard out of the side of the handset. The QWERTY keyboard allows the user to input text & create messages at high speed & the user can view the screen in horizontal mode to correspond with the QWERTY keyboard. This handset has a compact sized casing which measures 112mm tall, 51mm wide & 15.4mm deep but when its slide out keyboard is in its open position the casing is 80mm wide.
The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic is a music focused handset which supports MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+ & eAAC+ format music playback on the built in music player. The user can access the music player from the handsets main menu & enjoy controlling their music playback using the dedicated music keys which include a play & pause key, skip key & a rewind key. The user can transfer their music from other devices onto their Nokia 5730 XpressMusic or download more new music. The handset has well positioned volume keys which allow the user to control their music volume in an instant. The integrated music feature turns the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic into a mobile music player with high quality sound & music features. The user can hear MP3, 3D stereo, polyphonic & midi ringing tones on their handset as well as enjoying video ringtones for a visual ringtone experience. A built in stereo FM radio allows the user to tune into a radio station of their choice for a new listening experience & the handset also supports an Internet radio feature. If the user feels like a relaxing game or two then the 5730 XpressMusic supports an N Gage application & the user can try games before they purchase the full version. The phone comes with dedicated gaming keys which are situated perfectly which allow the user to control their games with ease.
The 5730 XpressMusic comes with a built in Nokia Web browser with a Nokia mini map function & the browser supports a RSS feed. The user can create, send, receive & store a selection of messages on their handset as the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic supports many easy to use messaging services. An instant message allows the user to use text & symbols for an online chat with other compatible users with Windows MSN Live support. A built in email services supports push email & allows the user to send & receive email messages directly to the user's handset for a fully mobile emailing experience & the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic supports IMAP4, POP3 & SMTP emails. The user can enjoy sharing audio messages with others containing voice sound or even music & a SMS type message which contains text either long text or short text. A text to speech message reader feature allows the user to hear their messages out loud as the feature will read the text out loud for the user. The user can enjoy a quick & fun way to share pictures & video clips using the MMS feature which is a message containing either a picture or a video with sound & text. A MMS can be shared between compatible MMS contacts & is a fun way to communicate with others.
An integrated camera feature allows the user to enjoy capturing still pictures on the go as well as capturing moving video footage as the camera supports video recording capabilities. The integrated camera is a 3.2 megapixel digital camera which comes with an automatic focus feature & an 8 x digital zoom. The user can view their photo opportunities on the screen which works as a full screen view finder & with a well positioned camera capture key allows the user can capture their picture as soon as they see the desired result on their screen with a quick press of the camera key & the picture is taken. The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic comes with many camera features which will ensure the user gains the best possible result each time the camera feature is used. A built in LED flash comes with a selection of modes which allow the user to choose between an automatic flash mode, red eye reduction flash mode or simply on or off mode. The 3.2 megapixel camera supports three camera capture modes which include a still image capture, sequence image capture or a video capture. The built in video recording capabilities allow the user to capture lively moving footage on their phone & the user can set the scene mode to either automatic or night depending on the user's needs. The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic supports video streaming & video playback in popular video formats including MPEG4 & H263.
This Smartphone comes with a Symbian operating system version 9.3 with S60 software & the user can experience a user friendly interface & menu options on their 5730 XpressMusic. The handset supports A GPS navigation with Nokia Maps 2.0 application & the user can get step by step directions to desired locations & destinations. The user can enjoy worldwide roaming as the Nokia 5730 supports a quad band GSM network & HSDPA network coverage but the overall network coverage on this handset is dependent on the users chosen network service operator. A fully charged battery can provide up to 5.2 hours of GSM talk time, 4.2 hours of 3G talk time, 6.5 hours of 3G Internet browsing time or the user can enjoy 2.3 hours of video calling time. The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic comes with one hundred megabytes of internal memory, one hundred & twenty eight megabytes of RAM plus the handset supports MicroSD™ memory card & can hold up to sixteen gigabytes of extended memory.
