The Nokia N79 is a solid bar shaped 3G Smartphone which is ideal for business & personal use. The casing is solid with no opening system & comes with smooth edges. The N79 is available in two main coloured casings complete with three changeable colour options which the user can change to suit their style. The canvas white casing comes with a light sea blue, olive green & an espresso brown coloured covers. The Nokia N79 with a seal grey coloured casing comes with espresso brown, white & coral red coloured covers. This 3G Smartphone supports Xpress On™ smart covers with automatic theme change which allows the user to enjoy the same colour theme on their menus which matches the users chosen coloured cover. The handset is lightweight when considering all the built in features & technologies which weighs only 97 grams. It measures 15mm deep by 49mm wide by 110mm tall which allows the user to enjoy single handed use of this gorgeous Smartphone. The N79 comes with a good start up kit which includes the three Xpress On™ covers, battery charger, battery, connectivity cable, music headset, user guide, quick start guide & a 4 Gigabyte MicroSD™ memory card. The Nokia N79 comes with a large QVGA screen which measures 2.4 Inches when measured diagonally & displays up to sixteen million colours. The user can adjust the screens brightness & colour using the screen controls & the screen has a built in light sensor which allows the user to view their screen clearly is brighter & duller surroundings. The N79 is a member of the Nokia N series which includes the Nokia N78, Nokia N82, Nokia N85 & Nokia N96 which are all stylish Smartphone's.
The user can enjoy a mobile Internet experience using the built in Nokia Internet browser complete with mini maps support. The phone supports HTML, XHTML & WML Internet browsing. The N79's battery can provide up to 5.5 hours of WCDMA talk time, 406 hours of WCDMA standby time or up to 29 hours of music playback time from a fully charged battery. The Nokia N79 supports many fast technologies which allow the user to gain the best connectivity, transfer rates & Internet services on this mobile handset. The user can enjoy the multitasking skills of the 3G technology complete with the broadband speed Internet connectivity it provides. The user can enjoy Wi-Fi technology which allows the use to gain wireless connectivity to the World Wide Web. The built in Bluetooth® technology allows the user to connect their N79 handset to other Bluetooth® compatible devices when transferring files & data. The Smartphone also comes with a USB port which allows the user to gain a cabled connection between devices when wireless connectivity is not an option. This technology packed Nokia N79 comes with fifty megabytes of internal memory plus the Smartphone comes with an expandable MicroSD™ memory card which is four gigabytes in size & the Smartphone can supports up to eight gigabytes of memory via the phones memory card slot. The user can enjoy worldwide roaming depending on the user's network provider as the handset supports quad band technology with WCDMA support.

The camera is a five megapixel camera which has Carl Zeiss optics with a Tessar™ lens complete with a slide lens cover. The user can brighten up duller environments using the dual LED flash feature & get up close to their subject using the zoom option. The flash can be set to automatic mode, on mode, off mode or red eye reduction mode. The user can capture & set scene mode to automatic, portrait, manual, landscape, close up, sports, night portrait or portrait.
